Playing around with the LED on my phone.
Taken with a Canon EOS 600D/t3i. I used the 18-55mm kit lens.
Slight desaturation and color correction in Lightroom.
Auto-retrato em mixed media (técnica mista): aquarela, carimbos, patchwork, quilt, bordado, colagem.
My first tattoo I got when my husband and I split up to find our selves. That was my issue I lost who I was. I was no longer a strong independant woman. I was this navy wife that sat at home and waited for her sailor to come home. Whe the navy was out of our lives I didnt know how to be...
This is my solar plexus, it represents Self-Esteem, Self-Confidence, Self-Respect, Strong Will, Empowered drive. All the things I need to remember to keep burning strong.
Happily married for going on three years thanks to this self realization

Hi, so I guess, this is me :)
This is the second time I make a flickr-account and I hope I can stick to it for real.
No idea why I didnt do this in black and white in the first place. Oh how I wish I had known about strobist lighting when I took this.
Testing out idea's for a self portrait. (Note the date i shot this, I attempted to shoot different
idea's but I think this turned out best, I had trouble infront and behind the camera
for this brief but I have really enjoyed it, made me learn a thing or two about myself)
I decided to take some shots of me applying make up as its an everyday routine
and i will not leave the house without make up on.
I think that most girls these days feel the same way and dont feel confident or secure without a face of makeup on, which is upsetting really.
This image shows a side to my personality as I have low self esteem and confidence, although applying make up does not magically go away, it temporarily hides it, until i have to wash it off at night.
Mirrored self portrait gone wrong. The goal was to have the back of my head, in the second mirror in the background, in focus too.
My shadow on asphalt with oil reflection. Taken with my iPhone in my right hand and a bunch of flowers in my left one.
Finally got around to playing with my new flashes (2 x Speedlite 580EX II). This shot was taken with one flash to the left of face and one from the front (slightly to left). I'm pretty happy with my control over the flashes, but still need much practice.

New self portrait shot for my social media stuff. Love doing portrait shots when I can; every new one has a totally different mood and expression.
