Take what you believe will be the final series of photographs before you die.
— Nick Brandt
I hate having my photograph taken, to the point that I delete any my family take of me.
My mum died young, when I was 7 years old and I have so few memories of her, and only a handful of photos. For this challenge I decided to take a series of self portraits so that if this was to be my last ever photos, I would be leaving my family with something to remember me.
This amazing glass couture piece Structures of Self was recently modeled by one of the collaborating artists during the new Beakerhead festival of science, art and engineering. The idea to collaborate on an a photoshoot that paired the alien/bug like garment with the 40 foot RayGun Gothic Rocketship during the setting sun, made for some pretty creative images

I went out last night with my parents for a lovely Asian dinner and then we went to Gold Class cinema's to see "The Town".
Really lovely dinner with a really cool film to top it off.
I think I ate too much...
we actually shot a bunch of things for bench monday, but i thought this one worked better for self portrait tuesday.
Only me! A noisy and high contrast me, nonetheless.

I was being swung around by my legs when I took this self-portrait, and it actually turned out! Taken with a disposable camera. By Anna Ryon.
