I found this old picture of myself and used GIMP to color the rose red.

The latest in my selecive colour series...the postbox on High Street in Hull.

I was trying to capture only the middle bottle at sharp focus, with the foreground and backgrounds blurry. Almost got there.

Here I've masked off the section of the forward attach bracket where it will be sealed to the forward and aft inboard rib so that the sealant will adhere better. I'm going to do the same thing to all of the places on the tank skins where parts join to them.

I did this just before dunking these parts in Alumiprep and Alodine. The fuel tank parts do not get primer, though the finished tank may get primer on the surfaces that are both not external skin and do not touch fuel if I get really motivated.

Tutorial for applying texture to a photo using the masking technique.

Bristol got some great snow this January a long with most of the UK.

I took advantage of this to try and capture some great winter snow scenes.

I am enjoying experimenting with selective colour.

On of my first tilted images using a Pentax 50mm f1.4 on a micro 4/3 body. Tilted for minimum depth of field.

I would like this shot even more if somebody else had taken it.

Selective images from Green Forests' projects.

Not a huge fan of selective colour, but this iPhone snap intrigued me :)

A guy on the Mall, watching the outdoor movie "Make No Little Plans: Daniel Burnham & the American City." Washington, DC.

The world famous drink and it's iconic red can seems to be everywhere no matter which country I visit... Cambodia was no exception.

Selective colouring was done on this using history brush in CS4

I spent a few hours in the grounds of the Kwan Yin Temple, Penang, with the G2 and the f1.7, 20mm pancake lens, seeing what I could achieve with the manual focus.

A zorb I found in my room.

stencil + darkroom. no photoshop or vandalism involved.

Selective colouring isn't great on this one, once you bring it up full size it's obvious I was really lazy with it.

After some quick trial and error without even the slightest attention to detail, I found a photo I thought might look good if done well. This is my first attempt and I took some time and effort, but not much really so there are certainly some flaws.

Had a fun day taking photos.

Tried my hands at Selective Desaturation.

You are never really sure what you might see on the strip late at night. My first attempt at selective coloring.
