Rainfall rates exceeded 5" per hour but this was at peak intensity. At least 0.5" fell in 10 minutes. Street flooding (standing water) was brief but roads exposed to adjacent dirt and some large rocks spilled onto streets; stopping traffic at one point.

Taken with NEST security camera through window.

Found this front door of apartment building when I was hiking around the neighborhood couple of days ago. What is this place, I immediately thought, when I noticed security camera above the door. Notice that there is also a platform for pin codes and a pretty solid looking door. For some odd reason window on a top conjures up, in my mind, an image of a interrogation room. It's a gray and dreary room with one light hanging from the ceiling. Underneath the light there is a simple table and three chairs – one for me and two for my interrogators. They are though guys that look like they've done this before: the good cop and the bad cop. 'What are your next ideas? What kind of pictures are you going to do for tomorrow?', they bully on me, and I'm unable to answer, because I don't even know it myself.

Start of my photo blog has been surprisingly successful. I've had pretty nice amount of traffic, but it is the acceptance and encouraging welcome that I've received in from many sources what I really appreciate. This is all new to me and I guess I'm still finding out how to relate to it. I just hope that all this encouragement I've received is not in straight relation to expectations. It's still just ordinary me, trying to figure out how to shoot 73 pictures that has something black in them. One by one.

'Look, we are your only friends and the system out there doesn't care a bit about you. It will chew a guys like you ten times every day and be done with them. So why don't you help us to help yourself and reveal your plans. It's really a best thing there is for you', says the good cop while the bad one is digging up a some sort of machine from a locker in a shady corner. Looks like there are some electric wires hanging from it ...

The name of this colourful lane in Limerick city cente suggests an area steeped in history. The city itself has a long history, having been established by the Vikings in 812.

A bigger film plane and wider lens would've been nice here, but the cheapie Chinaphone did surprisingly well.

This was at an abandoned facility in West Windsor.

Looking up at a security camera (most likely not being used) on an external pillar of the old AMI Stadium (Lancaster Park) in Christchurch. One small stand has already gone as a result of earthquake damage, and the whole stadium may be demolished. It has not been used since before the 22nd February 2011 earthquake.

Another half day!

Did nothing. Literally. Cut out all the pictures I printed yesterday for my vision board. Printed some more and cut those too.

Julian and Inare going to see Scream 5 when it comes out so I ordered tickets. Except I got them for the wrong day!

Came home and took a bit of a nap after doing the dishes and straightening up a little. My dad made chicken soup so that was delightful!

After my nap I went to the movies to sort out the tickets and all is well! Went to Target and got a planner. NOT the one I had this year which I am in love with but it is unfortunately discontinued.

Got home and cooked some sausage and peppers and watched Better Call Saul.

Entering the Capitol building

My NEST camera recorded light pillars during snow showers when temperatures were near 10 F with RH of 92%. The light came from distant fracking natural gas rigs.

Facing south east on the steps down to Parliament Station. There are many signs here that inform you that photography is not permitted. Yet there are 2 surveillance cameras alone in this picture. Outside Parliament Station near the corner of Collins and Spring Streets in the CBD.

Amcor Flexibles Fire at Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston.

Fortunately there were no serious injuries with only one person suffering minor burns to the back of their hand.

3 firefighters felt unwell and attended hospital as a precautionary measure.

Amcor decided not to rebuild the facility with the loss of more than 80 jobs.

The security cameras at Government House Sydney, an appropriate shade of green and nicely tucked away behind some topiary. Not too bad a job. I don't think they are meant to be secret or anything, it's so beautiful in the grounds its great to see whoever is in charge making an effort to keep the grounds looking as true to their Victorian heritage as they can.

The Waterloo end of Stamford St is an interesting mix of buildings, Just before you get to Blackfriars bridge there's this old (and possibly derelict) building that reflects nicely in the building opposite.
