We did something that we have been talking about for years, that is, stop the car and take a photo of this bus.
a garden wall in china, twenty to eleven in the morning. the wall is white and two openings are cut into it, both black. in the left one a woman stands and poses, chin up, hand on her bag. five metres away a man in a sun hat goes down on his knees and holds up his phone. between them, bolted to the wall above, two security cameras and their shadows. he photographs her. the cameras photograph both of them. nobody photographs the cameras except me.

One Main Place in Downtown Dallas is mirrored in the windows of the neighboring Earle Cabell Federal Building, where a security camera stands guard.
I would imagine this is a favorite truck for a lot of people. Personally I prefer the Good Humor Ice Cream Truck that made the rounds of the neighborhoods when we were kids. It was a highlight of summer. As soon as we heard the bell, we would run to our parents for some change to get a popsicle.
It occurred to me as I was sitting in the car outside the bank taking pictures of this armored truck that I might indeed need bail money. I imagine that they think I am scouting out the bank to pull off a heist. I am probably featured on several security cameras. If I give a shout out, I hope you all will help me make bail.
