#4 - something hated
Wal-Mart represents a good deal of what I hate in this world -- its unscrupulous business practices, its abhorrent treatment of its employees, its aggressive homogenization of the American cultural landscape, and its calculated efforts to wipe out independent competition all make my blood boil. But what I hate most is the government-corporation collusion that perpetuates poverty and which means that many people can't afford NOT to shop at Wal-Mart. Oh, and I also hate the complacency that prevents those who can afford to shop elsewhere from boycotting this reprehensible business.
Okay, I'm stepping off the soapbox now.
...because that's how big brothers are meant to make you feel. I always think cameras should be in your face, not perched so far on top of a building that no one notices them. When they're hidden, we forget how much of a big brother, police state we live in.

Outside of a downtown restaurant there is a small patio area. It's decorated with old farm implements, an old gas stove, the lamp post and this rather odd fake window that appears to have been made from old pallets and a couple of shutters.
