You find cameras everywhere, in the oddest places.

Big Brother is Watching

312/365 I got into trouble for taking my camera into work as I didn't have a pass for it (you need a pass for everything at AJE) which left me with a dilema for my planned shot of the day. As I was about to put the camera back in the car and resign myself to another shot at the Corniche I noticed the security camera looking my way. Rather than take a direct shot of it and risk the wrath of security I took it's reflection in the bonnet of my car.

My homage to Rockwell. Somebody's Watching Me is an under-rated classic of 80's music.

Is it pointed into the window?

There was too many when I wasn't paying attention to every detail of my surroundings desperately searching for new subjects to shoot. These things are fucking everywhere and in more places than you think.

'Can you imagine?' On Black

Imagine... sitting in the sun on a bench, without any fear of dangers from above.

Opportunistic self-portrait in bank security camera.

The (obviously deranged) guy behind me noticed what I was doing and started shouting, "Hey! You're taking a picture of yourself in the camera! Is that legal? Hey! Is that legal?"

Every camera requires some level of light to perform. A good security camera is capable of producing coloured images in good light while they are capable of producing monochrome images under minimum light conditions. There are other factors that impact the quality of image produced by a security camera . Let us read along what are those and how do they impact the performance of the camera. This video about The Evolution and Revolution of Security Camera Systems is brought to you by Alarm Masters Corp.

The evolution and revolution of security cameras is only a grain of salt out of the entire mine. As the world continues to march forward, imagine what type of technology, will be on the table come the next decades.

Yes, there are three security cameras on that lampost, overlooking a quiet residential area. It seems a little excessive to me, and furthermore I'm not sure I'd want the added security if it meant I had a camera looking in my bedroom window.

Funky Buddha Lounge, Brighton

It seems everywhere we go now we’re being watched, but the trend for big, obvious cameras seems to have diminished in recent years for those odd, slightly creepy, round perspective balls that move around; to me there’s more voyeurism in a camera watching you that can’t be seen than one that can.

As a result it was actually harder to find a security camera, the decent kind of industrial and in your face ones, than I would have expected. I’m not quite sure what the people sitting on the other end of the lens were thinking, but perhaps it added a touch of variation to what is probably a dull and tedious job.

Soon we’ll probably have trackers implanted under our skin, but for now the state will need to make do with our phones; I’ll stick to having location services turned off, thanks.

I saw this on the way into work today. Only when I processes it did I realise it looks like it has caught fire :)
