I previously posted a colored version of this same angle but a different long exposure. I figured it was worth going back and doing one silver and black from the rest of the lot. I went back and forth with this one and another exposure. At the end of the day this one was more striking, so I went with it. This is Boston's best skyscraper in my opinion, we could use a couple more like it.

While getting fitted for a suit for my Mother in law's funeral today I saw these fur lined lumberjack caps on a rack . I looked around and saw the security camera so I went over to it and put the hat on and snapped this shot. This is what they now have on their tape.

A frame packed to the edges. Paths bending, poles stacking, cranes cutting diagonals through the skyline, the Southern Star anchoring the whole scene like a slow, deliberate punctuation mark.
Every plane is doing something: foreground curves, mid‑ground clutter, background architecture pressing forward.
Nothing sits still. The composition is dense and intentional, a layered tangle of lines and structures that leads the eye in and around the scene. It’s an attempt at a cityscape where every element competes for attention.

Pont-Cardinet is a railway station in Paris. It is situated on the Paris–Le Havre railway. It is the first station on the line originating from Gare Saint-Lazare, Paris. The station building is situated above the track level alongside Rue Cardinet. The station is equipped with escalators and Solari destination boards. The main line continues towards Clichy whilst a small line, now closed, branches off towards Pereire-Levallois and links St Lazare to the RER C, this branch was once part of Ligne d'Auteuil and closed in June 1996.

This is taken on the pedestrian bridge over the Expressway in Central Birmingham. It is a great place to practice your long exposures. Especially if you want to put one in the 365 treasure hunt. The video cameras are keeping a watchful eye on us.
