I love the fact that the first thing we saw when we walked into Albertson's is this screen. Think it's a bad thing that the status of all of the security devices is either "NO" or "OFF"?
Which is why the techies at the company have affixed the keys to the rack-servers to the front of the door, about a meter or so from the lock.

AFGE joined activists from Social Security Works, Alliance for Retired Americans, and the Northern Virginia Labor Council to rally against the proposed closure of the only Social Security Administration office in Arlington, VA. Security was tight in Egypt, mainly due to threats of terrorist
activities. It just tickled me that the police were still on camels
around the pyramids. The fact that they looked so bored and one was
scratching his nose just finished it off for me.

when I was taking a shot of this downtown lobby Saturday night, a security guard came and told me that it's a privately owned building and she didn't think the owners would be happy about me taking pictures. Meanwhile, looks like there's some serious security to get on the elevator too. I wonder what goes on in that building, or if it's just squirrely rich folks.
