Mihailsk (Miha for friends) returns to Nitroglobus where his SL art career began in July 2021.
His minimalistic monochrome style reflects the simplicity and rawness of his emotions.
The fact that these artworks are born from a sad event, the disappearance coz of illness of his beloved SL partner adds another layer of depth to his creations.

Moreover, the sculpture 'REVIVAL OF PSYCHE' which Adwehe made for this exhibition deserves attention:
A tortured figure with wings partly trapped inside the marble, suggesting a sense of confinement. The presence of the woman's hands holding the remnants of the figure's head adds another layer of complexity.
While Miha's images may focus more on his isolation and struggle, Adwehe's sculpture highlights the longing for connection and reunion, as symbolized by the woman's outstretched hands reaching towards her lover trapped in marble.

CONNECTIONS by MiuMira (Miu), the July-August 2024 exhibition @ The Annex of Nitroglobus
I originally established The Annex of Nitroglobus with the goal of providing young, talented artists an opportunity to showcase their work. While I haven't always succeeded in this mission over the past months, I am delighted and proud to introduce this month's artist, MiuMira—a truly emerging talent.
MiuMira possesses a unique style characterized by delicate, translucent, and watercolor-like qualities, often portraying (parts of) herself in various dreamy moments. For this exhibition, she has chosen to present monochrome images. However, her Flickr portfolio reveals her adept use of light colors in her artwork.
This exhibition offers a glimpse into MiuMira's perspective on life and her process of decomposing thoughts and emotions—the mind and the heart.
I am quite sure you will enjoy this exhibition as much as I do!

Description of the exhibition by the artist:
The quote by Margaret Atwood, "In the end, we all become stories," resonates deeply within me. We are the authors of our lives, creating our own beautiful adventures and deciding on the main characters within our book.
I believe that connections give meaning and purpose to our lives. The greatest connection is between our own mind, heart, and emotions—the way we see and feel things, and how we translate them afterward in our unique way.
I am grateful to Dido for giving me this opportunity to share pieces of my work at her gallery. I sincerely hope that somehow, you can feel the connections within.
