Frank is back at the Annex and I am super happy to show 'Echoes of Illusion', an exhibition which is a significant departure from his previous work 'Shadows of Strength' that was shown @ the Annex last February.

The emphasis on the bold palette of red, black and white and the thematic exploration of freedom and peace, along with Frank's departure from avatar studies, highlights the evolution in his artistic journey, offering viewers a different experience.

This exhibition is a must-see, especially for those who appreciate art, which challenges conventional themes and color palettes.

Description by the artist:

The images I created for "Echoes of Illusion" reflect and amplify the deceptive nature of concepts like peace and freedom.

I chose the combination of black, white, and red as it best represents the stark contrasts and underlying truths of these dark themes, highlighting how illusions and false promises resonate and reverberate through society.

All the photo sets that you see in the images have been put together by me in my studio.

VIRTUALIDENTITY, the December 2021 exhibition by Margherita Hax @ Nitroglobus.

I am very happy to show you work of a classy arty lady, who is exhibiting her works for the first time in an SL gallery. She already gained some glory and followers with her Flickr account, but placing her works on the walls of a 'real' SL gallery and see people looking at it, is something completely different.

Meet Magherita (Marghe on short), who made 13 very personal new works for this exhibition, which all show some part of her SL body and her RL soul: VIRTUALIDENTITY.

The title of this collection of images exhibited at Nitroglobus is inspired by the paradox which Second Life initiates between the identity hidden behind the monitor and the one revealed by the avatar, the messenger of the human being controlling the avatar..

I have always felt the fascination of this paradoxical combination of emotions which, although limited and contained by an important filter in one sense, flow even stronger into the other.

Thus, suspended from judging what is true or fake, in my photos, through portraits, gazes, stories and attitudes, I try to show and narrate emotions, lifestyle, relationships and (why not) love in 3D, where even the Myths (Athena, Eros and Narcissus) are present,
