Die Wohnung ist bezogen, die Secondhand-Moebel abgeholt, Internet
installiert und der Kühlschrank mit Bier geladen. Bier in einem Restaurant
ist hier, wie eigentlich fast alles, uebermaessig teuer, so kostet ein
Stubbie (kleine Flasche) im Restaurant so um die 7 CHF! Die Wohnung ist hell
und gross und bietet somit Platz fuer Besuch aus der Schweiz. Damit ihr uns
auch findet, hier die Lage und da ein paar Fotos der Wohnung.
Nach dem Wohnungsbezug blieb endlich Zeit um Sydney zu erkunden und ein paar
tolle Walking Tours an der Kueste zu machen. Mit der Faehre gings an die
Watsons Bay am South Head, dem noerdlichsten Zipfel von Sued-Sydney ;-)
(Nord und Sued Sydney werden durch den Parramatta River, der in den Port
Jackson uebergeht, getrennt). Von der Watsons Bay gings weiter zur Rose Bay.
Eine weitere Sightseeingtour fuehrte von der Cogee Beach an die Bondi Beach.

Maybe I had the bird plate in mind from the previous store. I just really like this fish plate and had to have it. A little disappointed that it's from Pier 1 but whatevs, it's mine. Will go on the kitchen table probably. EDIT: Of course! This plate is gonna go great with the ceramic piranha that I picked up thrifting years ago, one of my most prized thrifted items.
I am in two minds still as to keep the buttons or not, mainly because I have two quite different ideas for this shirt.
Found the first if not only specialized Russian bookshop in Holland here in Deventer: Lomonosov. Later I did find traders which also had a nice selection of books byh Russian writers.
