This sidewalk in Mumbai's downtown Fort area plays host to all the books you wouldn't find elsewhere. Secondhand and pirated copies rule the roost here! They all come cheap :D
Well yesterday was interesting! Got an amazing sofa of Freecycle which was supposed to be a two seat sofa, kinda sure it's a three seat sofa. Well would you know old Manx Cottages don't fit modern sized things! Thank the lord our new neighbor Baz (seriously amazing guy) shown us how to take the window apart!! Guess who was the unlucky person who had to hold it up, yep me! Those windows are H.E.A.V.Y!!! Sofa looks amazing though, so many ideas on what to do with it, and I love love love the Mallard's Michael knows me well, I cannot wait till we have the fire on, the quilts on and the NFL on.
Oh hey, a couple aisles over, the llama I picked up has a cousin. Actually when i brought my llama home, I noticed that the bottom was rough, which makes me think that the one I have looked like this originally but the base got broken off at some point. This one stayed at the store.
I bought this ugly sweater at a thrift shop, and I am going to frog it. I will use the yarn for less eye-damaging knit goods.

I really don't understand this. I understand even less why I purchased a bag of something like 40 of these (expect a few will be passed out as gifts--you're welcome). There were a couple regular clothespins in the bag with them so maybe they're supposed to be clothes pins, or maybe they're just supposed to be regular old clips, dunno. Maybe I'll just leave some in random places to let other people ponder the mystery of what the mosquito has to do with prayer or what the Bible has to say about bug spraying....

Not sure of the origin of this coffee table; I think it came from an artist who my husband helped with moving tasks years and years ago.
