Well yesterday was interesting! Got an amazing sofa of Freecycle which was supposed to be a two seat sofa, kinda sure it's a three seat sofa. Well would you know old Manx Cottages don't fit modern sized things! Thank the lord our new neighbor Baz (seriously amazing guy) shown us how to take the window apart!! Guess who was the unlucky person who had to hold it up, yep me! Those windows are H.E.A.V.Y!!! Sofa looks amazing though, so many ideas on what to do with it, and I love love love the Mallard's Michael knows me well, I cannot wait till we have the fire on, the quilts on and the NFL on.
this is a ridiculous picture of me, but I had to post it because I love that (also ridiculous) insect dress I am wearing.
Do I need this? No. Was it on sale? Nope. Did I get it anyway. Yep. Dunno, had to have it. I think this is a Pomeranian or a really fluffy corgi. It's cute and it's mine.
Two new-to-me garden books bought second hand at Russel Books in Victoria. The Lone Pine book (on top) was a real bargain -- only $7.99 and I don't think its previous owner ever opened it. The other book is all about re-using common materials for gardening (stuff I do anyway, but inspiration is always good).
