"Some Rights Are Absolute!" and "MLG Free Zone" messages on LED sign belonging to a gun shop in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, shortly after NM Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham ("MLG") issued an executive Public Health Order rescinding civilian gun carry rights in this one New Mexico county, which includes the state's largest city, Albuquerque.
Upon refusal on constitutional grounds (violation of 2nd Amendment) of City and County law enforcement & the State Attorney General to enforce or defend the PHO, plus swift filing of a pack of anti-gun-ban lawsuits, the PHO was blocked by a U.S. District Court Temporary Restraining Order, which "MLG" has vowed to oppose (conspicuously without her AG, a fellow Democrat) at an 10/03/23 Federal Hearing.
On 10/11/23 the Judge on the case declined to further block the (now-amended) PHO, which at least one of the 12 Plaintiffs has appealed to the 10th Circuit Court.

He scurries along the floorboards
On feet as light as air
The little lord of the pantry
Has emerged from out of his lair
He feasts on cereal and crackers
On raisins and dried fruit
For the contents of the pantry
He has claimed as his personal loot
But all that glitters is not gold
The old folks used to mutter
But how many old folks can resist
The taste of peanut butter
The trap is set
The bait is too
His brain is all a clutter
He moves in close
Driven to find
The tantalizing peanut butter
He grabs the morsel with his teeth
But doesn't hear the click
His spine has snapped, right in two
His death at least was quick
No more scampering little feet
Amid the pantry clutter
For death is close, for any mouse
That dines on peanut butter

This was the flagpole high atop the Gettysburg National Tower, as it was back in 1979. I was there while on a senior class trip to Washington, D.C. and the surrounding areas.
Thousands of people, led by a gleaming white coffin, marched across the Brooklyn Bridge on June 2 to protest the high level of gun violence in the United States and demand stricter gun controls. The march was part of a national day of action against gun violence.
