Five-coach LNER 'AZUMA' Class 801/1 Nos. 801103 & 801110 approach Platform 2 at Retford Station, working the 1N83, 11:06 London Kings Cross to York Service on 25th March 2023.
This is the first of a few images from a recent trip to Southern Utah. In case you don't know, it was actually taken just inside the border of Arizona (the hike begins in Utah and you eventually cross the border into Arizona), in the Coyotte Buttes area. It's a three-mile hike one way, which would have been much easier if I was actually in shape. But it was well worth it. In order to protect this area they only give permits to 20 people (or dogs) each day, and ten of those have to be reserved months in advance. I was EXTREMELY lucky to get a permit that day for me and my wife because there were 55 other people trying to get one of the ten remaining for that day. They have a lottery every morning. It was a close call - our number was the last to be drawn.
Anyway, this is my take on the formation often referred to as the Second Wave.

The second flyer I received from Scientologists today. Rather disingenuously, this one doesn't feature the word "scientology" anywhere on it. (It's credited to the "Citizens Commission on Human Rights® International")
It's only because of that whole BBC Panorama farrago from a few weeks that I know that the "An Industry Of Death" thing is anything to do with them.
This was my second look at the recently born Aditi, one of my best friend's first child. Her tired mother would not let me wake her up. So I tiptoed into the room and in the gentle light of a solitary table lamp, I took this picture after lifting the net. She was beautiful and angelic! Welcome to our lives, Aditi!
This was taken handheld with Nikon D300 at 1/15 sec, f/4.5, 44mm and ISO 3200. The "First Sight' can be seen in my Set:
This is results of my second day learning to do studio work. I still have to learn how to use the lights better. But practice makes perfect right? lol
I'm hoping it is final! Added an Anderson 8ft sliding patio door in master bedroom with Juliette Balcony. I have the door left over from pulling it out of the dining room. Wrought iron balcony on rear of house will break up the 3 story box a bit
This is a view looking back toward the second lake as we were headed back up to the first. (This is the same lake shown four pictures ago.) This lake sits at an elevation of 11,832 feet. I think it's the prettiest of the three.

This schoolhouse was built in the Goodwill area of Montgomery to replace the first, smaller schoolhouse. That building still exists across the road and serves as part of the Goodwill Presbyterian Church's Sunday School Building. It is in my photo stream and in my schools set. This building served until 1959 and now serves as an American Legion post and a day care center.
