Dj's are a generous bunch of artists and musicians. Ask them to help and they will. Stylista Festival is an event for Make-a-Wish fundraiser for America. Brought to the Second Life grid by Andy Moon and Ameya Anatra. This is a multiple day event over four sims. I will post the info on RAFTWET Jewell's blogger so that others can see the info today.
I caught dj Stefan Chrousch's set this morning. A beautiful auditorium setting with a marbelized rotating floor, set the mood for the start of this event. I also heard that he donated his time and set to the cause. Big up to Stefan and the other dj's!
Hats off to the organizers! Such an appropriate event for the holidays to remember the children who need this the most.

We went to the Second City comedy club for a show on Friday night. They did a great set of skits and improv, and then added a third set of improv to practice some new material.

On my second day in Herefordshire, I decided to visit three churches all of which are included in Simon Jenkins’ England’s Thousand Best Churches. The three churches were All Saints at Brockhampton-by- Ross, St Catherine at Hoarwithy and St Bartholomew at Much Marcle. The last of these being a re-visit to get some better pictures of the collection of Kempe stained glass in the church.
My first stop was at the church of All Saints at Brockhampton-by-Ross which was designed in 1901 by W. R. Lethaby for Alice Foster, who had been given the Brockhampton estate on her marriage, as a memorial to her parents Ebenezer and Julia Jordan of Boston, Massachusetts. Pevsner describes the church as ‘one of the most convincing and impressive churches of its date in any country’. The church is much visited and has even been copied in Japan for a wedding centre. For me the experience of this interesting church was somewhat spoiled by the number of signs warning that this or that was alarmed. I understand the need to protect this building and its fittings, but the number of warning signs in the church gave me the feeling that I was in a museum rather than a place of worship.

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig made a visit to Lovejoy Elementary School to speak with 4th graders about agriculture in Iowa. After his presentation, Naig answered questions about current agriculture practices and job opportunities.

Seen at the Second Annual Wingate Tractor and Gas Engine Show, held in Wingate, Indiana, USA. The show, held on August 1st, 2015, was at Bane Park, in Wingate, sponsored by the Coal Creek Fire Department, of Montgomery County, Indiana. This show was held, to replace the former Wingate Sweetcorn Festival, and also featured a tractor parade around the town, including Indiana State Road 25, locally known as Vine Street.
