In the Style Of Candida Hofer
This was a tough topic, I researched Candida Hofer and found some beautiful empty buildings. She likes to take images from a raised level. Unfortunately, there is not a lot places like that in my city.

Interior shot from the perhaps most iconic building in Rome - showing a part with reconstructed spectator seats. This amphitheatre (also known as Flavian Amphitheatre) was built 70-80 A.D. by emperor Vespasian and Titus (with additional work done under the following emperor, Domitian). The Colosseum is still an imposing building, although it has been robbed of quite a lot of its materials and has been damaged by earthquakes. It once could hold more than 50,000 spectators and is the largest amphitheatre in the world.
During the first lockdown, this local restaurant that we go to fairly frequently has had a lot of internal alterations and work done on it. This wall bench seating is one of the changes, as is the design of the wall behind it.
Bench Monday
Vicki, a friend from New Mexico lived in this amazing house with her hubby Mike, son Skye and two dogs. It was such an fabulous place. They had this huge in-ground pool in the backyard and this beautiful bench was where you could sit and cool down in the shade. It was spectacular to say the least.
thanks for the title idea, wild prairie man!

Not sure who they think is going to sit in these tiny seats... They are kind of cute but dang they are small and very low to the ground. Definitely not for old fat guys...
Wonderful work of Dutch artist Maarten Baas.
The Empty Chair was an exhibition at Museum Voorlinden NL.
Main-level seating in the old Shriners auditorium. An oculus skylight up above provides the illumination.
The renovation plan calls for removal of these seats and creation of open gathering spaces. I wonder how that will go, given the problems likely facing the state, country and world. The last attempt to renovate this temple started shortly before the world financial crisis of 2008-2009 and stalled out accordingly.
