Sisters are like seashells, snowflakes, and precious works of art. Each is a unique beautiful treasure that can never be duplicated or replaced. We may not be sisters by birth but are sisters in faith and heart!

Seashell

Very beautiful and precious, it was the largest shell I found on the beach in my life. We photographed and left her there enriching the scenery.

Concha do Mar

Muito linda e preciosa, foi a maior concha que encontrei na praia em toda minha vida. Fotografamos e deixamos ela por lá enriquecendo o cenário.

I enjoy finding geometric designs in nature.

Sea Shell, is a hard, protective outer layer created by an animal that lives in the sea. The shell is part of the body of the animal. Empty seashells are often found washed up on beaches by beachcombers. The shells are empty because the animal has died and the soft parts have been eaten by another animal or have decomposed.I found these on Llandudno Pier.

Thank you in advance for your views, comments, and faves. They are much appreciated!

For Macro Mondays- the seashell is 2.3 cm wide/tall. I used a real seashell to make the mold and cast it in silver. The chain links were formed from silver wire, shaped, beaten, soldered & then linked up by more soldering, to form the chain.

🐚 Beautiful new specimens!

Shells. Lots of shells. Millions of shells on this beach.

Finding this flawless Pear Whelk seashell was one of the highlights of the recent shelling adventure at Folly Beach, South Carolina. This particular whelk was still alive so of course there was no keeping him, but capturing this perfection was plenty good enough for me. Once the photo session was over I tossed him back into the water so he could continue his adventure as well. Thanks for visiting! :). -H3
