The bags are made of scrapp wool from the Pendelton blanket mill. The men are made of sculpy, house paint and grit.

Eros: Winged Serpent Doll, inspired by the Greek story of Psyche.
Materials: Dyed turkey feathers, Sculpy clay, old hinge, faux fur, epoxy putty, steel wire, aluminum artist's mesh, quilt batting, acrylic paint, various varnishes
Time: Approx. 25 hrs.
Features: Realistically poseable wings. Moveable jaw. Poseable serpentine body.
The second of the triplets has been made of a Sculpy face colored with alcohol inks, and markers (which btw thin out just like alcohol inks with thinner), fiber hair, a cut-up gift bag butterfly and collaged background. The body is a sea shell.
My friend Bryan & I placed "Sculpy" (the sculpture I made) in the K-State Union parking lot at 3 a.m. one day, unapproved and unsolicited. It remained for a couple years.
Here, my dad and brother and I finally take Sculpy down, as they're building a new parking garage on the premises.

A model of the Predator from the film series. The height is 33 cm excluding the lance; if the Predator is about 2 metres tall, that makes the scale about 1:6. The basis is a vinyl kit from Thailand. The lance is mainly scratchbuilt from steel rod. The dreadlocks are made from Sculpy Superflex. Paints are acrylics and Humbrol metallic steel.

White and Black Basilisk: Pair dolls, inspired by my current writing.
Materials: Faux fur/minky, epoxy putty, Sculpy clay, steel wire, quilt batting, acrylic paint, correction fluid, various varnishes
Time taken: ~5hrs (White), ~7hrs (Black).
Features: Highly poseable bodies (particularly Black Basilisk, due to his longer limbs) , glass bead eyes

Each piece is made with Sculpy brand bake-able clay, painted with quality acrylic paints, and coated in a water-based polyurethane finish. If you would prefer a different finish, different colors, or would like a custom creation, just let me know! I accept Paypal payments and shipping will be no more than $6 (usually about $2-3 for flat pieces).
I can also put together the entire frame composition for you, using mostly second-hand refurbished picture frames. The price will be adjusted accordingly and will of course be mutually agreed upon.
Once I know how many lights you'd like and for what size frame, I will also attach them with a black cord so they look just like real lights!

20 Oct 07 -- Step 1: Get cheap, used trophies from Goodwill. Step 2: Modify them with Sculpy, paint, fake fur, etc. Step 3: Bestow them on prize winners. That's supposed to be a mullet the golden girl is kicking, but teddy bear fur isn't terribly stylable.
These dudes love "A Life Aquatic" both have tattoos from the movie and it has deep sentimental value. So Bru made sugar crabs out of sculpy for cake toppers and an anchor to boot. Its a pretty "cartoony" cake but I like it. And they were pumped.
The Eye was given to Coraline and was made from an old ( old! ) piece of taffy. I made this one out of Sculpy to resemble the one used in the movie.

that's with four hands in the air, I haven't sketched in what the hands in the air are doing, because I'm trying to decide that....... X)
I built this model over 40 years ago as a prop for a Super 8 film project. Over the years it got pretty beat up and lost some teeth. I made the missing teeth out of Sculpy, then sanded and primed it. I finished it with Krylon Gloss Dover White, shaded it with raw umber water based oil, then dull coated it.
