Last week was a creatively busy week. It's been nice to have so many projects going on!

I spent a couple of days making itty bitty succulents from scratch. Sculpy, paper, cutting up bits of plastic.. super fun!

This box and a whole mess of other arrangements are up in my shop. Check em out :)

A new birth of wood and flesh.

Is it a new beginning or the same as before in a new skin?

I’m not too sure but personally I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

In 1923, German physicist Hermann Oberth published his thesis 'By Rocket into Planetary Space', which triggered wide-scale interest and scientific research on the topic of space flight.

The Oberth Colonists wander the universe in search of the other colonists to join together and map out the explored space. Once all the colonists have gathered themselves they can then piece together their knowledge and begin to plan their journey home. Unfortunately for them, they don't know how many colonists there were originally nor how many are still alive.

Better known as Mr. T.

This is based off of the new A Team movie.

First one to complete the line gets a cookie: I pity...

I know that I said that Will Graham would be my next Hannibal figure but I didn't like the face I painted for him so I am redoing it. Anyways, this is Mason Verger from Hannibal. His coat and hair are sculpted from Sculpy and he is completely hand painted. He also has Pavlov which is sculpted off a large stud. I plan on eventually making an alternate face for him and will post a pic of that when it is done. I have a couple of Freedom Fighters that I need to post and I am still working on their back stories it is just taking a little longer than I thought. Also I should have said this sooner but credit for the layout goes to Logan Fulford and I will also be putting that on my other pics.

I finally finished my LPS/Blythe hybrid owl girl! Very inspired by Giulia's awesome custom LPS girls! She's made from a Deco pets penguin head, Blythe body, sculpy ear tufts and I had to give her felt embroidered wings, of course. :)

Ceek hasn't got that many friends. But he does have a slowly dwindling group of dinner buddies..

Or maybe not so done. Getting advice on muting the sky so the bunny pops more. I might just do that if I can figure out how.

Anyway, as promised to those who asked some time ago, this is the wool felting project that I have been working on.

This is the first of many more to come. Im keeping the title under wraps for now until I can come up with more panels.

The wool is hand died and felted by needles. I also have shrinky dinks, sculpy clay and buttons in the panel as well. Oh, and some wire too.

I am still working on the photography though. I would love to hear any and all suggestions. The color on this is pretty true to the actual panel. I think Im good on the color, its the shadows I think I need to ditch.

Thanks all!

Made this little bro yesterday as an experiment c: He's strung very loosely with thread and sculpted from Polymer clay! He's supposed to be "Pumkin" from Mondo media's web series "Baman and Piderman" which is absolutely adorable c:

I've always liked the character so I felt he needed to be brought to life ^ ^

I made this quite awhile ago

wedding cake from this weekend. The couple is sitting on a Barkasse, a typical ship on the lake Alster here in Hamburg. The design of the cake is matching the invitation.

Thanks for looking.

Went to the Getty Center saturday, showing an out-of-towner how LA does ostentatious-on-a-hill-massive-museum/architectural-marvel.

And though, once again, I was disappointed by how much empty space there is within the museum, how many rooms lay unused, and how utterly uninterested I am in furniture from old-timey times, I was blown away by one particular exhibit.

Apparently there's this artist named Tim Hawkinson, and apparently he's some kind of genius. A giant photo-collage of a squid, make from photos of lips, a sculpy dinosaur vertebrae made from little men rowing, and, of course, the ϋberorgan.

The ϋberorgan is massive, hanging above us all in the Center's main hallway. Built using items you can find at any Home Depot, the damn thing is, well, it's an organ. Using some kind of steampunk engine that reads black dots with a light sensitive scanner thingy, the huge bellows basically fart music, slow, strangely melodic, like a lazy whale singing.

And it is majestic.

Sometimes, every once in awhile, i just really fucking dig art.

I have improved my Blob to look more like tin7_creation's. The fat, and punching gloves were made out of Sculpy. This was painted by me, even the tattoo (which is a minifig, not a person). I'm rather ashamed to say this but the arms are Megablocks. I used them because they're bigger than the regular arm.

made with Sculpey. There's a twisted up tinfoil skeleton inside him so he's a little sturdier. His neck bolts are made with paneling nail heads. He's 5" tall.

So heres my ED-E. I know its slightly sloppy, but what do you expect from wire and sculpy :P Anyway i will be getting more paints soon so i will paint the stand a less distracting color. Also you may not see it but on the back there is a tail fin and license plate along with the Honor Student sticker. Fig here to show size comparison.

The head is made out of Sculpy. the legs were spray painted that shade of green. I'm also providing you with a side view of Lenny's head. Earlier today I sprayed all my Simpson character's head pieces with clear spray paint for the shininess. i told you Carl wasn't gonna be that good.
