I had a request to put Scripture on some of my favorite images, so I will be adding some of my favorite verses. No comments are needed but if you want to, by all means, please do! Thanks for enjoying them!
Nehemiah 9:6 (NIV)
You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your heart as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. (Psalm 95; 7b,8,9) I often when called to sing, sing the first part of Psalm 95 as a praise song and ignore verses 7b-11. I frequently think of the verses in Psalms pertaining to the Israelites as history and don't always stop to think of how they apply today!

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

I made this image twice: once with text alone, and once with a section of the typewriter included. I found it to be a much more effective image with more than just text.
in The Four Loves, the full quotation (with context) reads:
“Finally, we must notice that Friendship is very rarely the image under which Scripture represents the love between God and Man. It is not entirely neglected; but far more often, seeking a symbol for the highest love of all, Scripture ignores this seemingly almost angelic relation and plunges into the depth of what is most natural and instinctive. Affection is taken as the image when God is represented as our Father; Eros, when Christ is represented as the Bridegroom of the Church.
Let us begin with the suspicions of those in Authority. I think there is a ground for them and that a consideration of this ground brings something important to light. 1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)
2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)

I actually did a *gulp* wedding this weekend... my first and last. The images are turning out quite nicely, but the STRESS!!

Deuteronomy 32:10 “The Lord found him in a desolate land, in an empty wasteland where animals howl. He continually guarded him and taught him; he continually protected him like the pupil of his eye.”
Something so calming about the ruins. I photographed these pages after they spent so much time in terrific weather conditions.
This is a close up of a box my Grandmother kept her handwritten notes of favorite Bible scriptures. One of my favorite things I received from her.
Sirens scream around me, uncertainty and self-doubt seeping in my ears. I am tossed in the torment.
Stand by Me.
I am black and blue with life’s bruises. My limbs are weak, each breath a struggle to squeeze from my lungs.
Stand by Me.
Mountains dissolve to the earth, stars shoot fire, and darkness consumes my eyes.
Stand by Me.
I root in the middle of the road, paths sprouting from all directions. None are paved, all overgrown and looming. Not a sign in sight.
Stand by Me.
Life hangs by a silent web, invisible to the public eye. Frail, frantic, lingering on its line.
Stand by Me.
I feel pressure caving around my soul, chiseling hard and stark realization, a hammer to my heart.
Stand by Me.
Numb. Lord, everything is crashing to my shore in urgent calling.
Fear. I stand at the edge of a canyon and listen to my echoes reverberate against the chasm.
Unknown. I am moving through a midnight marsh that threatens to swallow me, skin to spirit. I cannot be alone. I don’t want to feel numb.

Someone who cares about you
Praise be to the Lord, for He has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song. (Psalm 28; 6,7)
He hummed out loud a melody that left the world without a sound. The quiet streets, just the whistling of the breeze, I want to be the air you breathe. When you can't hang on I'm all you need.
