(ESV) For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
The Bible has a lot to say about money. In Matthew 6:24, Jesus tells us that we cannot serve both God and money. In other words, our loyalty should be to God, not to money. This is because money is only temporary, but our relationship with God is eternal. Philippians 4:19 says that God will meet all our needs according to His riches in glory. This verse reminds us that we can trust God to provide for us, even when times are tough. And in 1 Timothy 6:10, we are told that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. This means that when we focus onmoney too much, it can lead us astray from what is really important in life. The Bible has a lot to say about money because it is an important part of our lives. But we should always keep in mind that our ultimate loyalty should be to God, not to money.
