A little screenprint from an illustration i did.

The four layers of this print were exposed on the same screen, so I was able to print all the colours on the same day, rather than having to strip and re-expose the screen each time I wanted to print another layer, which is what I had to do with the last print I posted -- you know, the one with all the mugshot faces that progressed at an unbelievably slow rate.

  

This summer's big work in progress -- the subject matter will be familiar to regular viewers of this Flickr stream, of course.

 

This is the first test run of the screens, the point of which is to work out whether the inks are printing as they should and to see if I need to add further layers of colour (it turns out I do).
