T-shirts weren't traditionally made for the Oktoberfest beer garden, but people began refusing to work a beer garden shift unless they got a t-shirt, so we started doing an Oktoberfest design and print run. Orange ink on black was chosen since it was close to Halloween."

Hey hey! Tweet! Tweet! You are looking at Spring Cardinal, my spring 2010 art print. What a happy little fellow!
We have lots of Cardinals here all year round. I love looking out of my window and seeing their amazing scarlet red color jumping out from wherever they are, and whatever they are up to.
Spring Cardinal is a part of my new Seasons series. This is the sixth print in series of seasonal prints that I'll be releasing. Ready? Here's the mind-blowing part = there will be 4 per year.
This year for 2010 I am doing things a little differently, rather than making a new image for each season, I've decided to follow the same bright red fellow in the same scene, across all 4 seasons.
Spring Cardinal is my 4-color, all hand screenprinted art print with tender mint green, bark brown, scarlet red, and new-leaf green, hand mixed and non-toxic water based inks. All prints are hand signed and titled. Size: 16 x22 inches (39.4 cm x 55.9 cm.) Paper: archival Cougar, White 100lb cover weight.

My wife and her bro have started a screenprinting studio in Portslade and they are really good - ok I'm biased but its true. They specialize in screen printing and are interested in everything from music, film, arts to skateboarding and fashion.
They can print your Art work on all grades of paper and types of textiles, such as T-shirts, bags and so forth! So check them out at www.parliamentoffeathers.co.uk and if your in Brighton call in.
Any help local Brighton creatives can help with more promotion will be greatfully received!

The first run of t-shirts finally arrived from my surfin' screenprinter. 100% Cotton, Pre-shrunk Hanes Beefy-T, so it's nice and soft, good and thick fabric. Color is pretty accurate on my screen, but it's a light sage green with black printing.

As part of Glasgow’s Active Ageing Week, a community group from 'Keep Creative', an arts and health GP referral programme, run by Depot Arts in North Glasgow took part in our ‘Growing Bolder’ Printmaking and Archive Project.
The group learned about fine art printmaking techniques and had a tour of the facilities. They watched our Master Screenprinter at work in the professional workshop, and took a look behind the scenes with our Archive Curator, gaining hands on experience visiting our fantastic on-site Archive. After selecting prints from the Archive the group wrote short responses to the images and on the final session had a go for themselves, creating their own original screenprint.

These are the holders from mine and Will's wedding invitations (from our wedding, last year). I made the design myself in Illustrator. The image features two robots, with their eyes connecting over a heart and some stylized swirls. The red holders themselves I ordered from papersource.com
These were printed in silver ink using the awesome gocco printer (a small screenprinter).

A gift from my relatives up in Wisconsin, as they knew I was a Star Wars fan.
Pardon the usage of a Star Trek-esque font; apparently it was the spaciest font that the screenprinter could find.
