I got to Bath a bit earlier than usual today, as Mum had a retinal screening appointment at 2pm. We arrived at the Rose & Crown in good time, were served failrly quickly and away by about 1.15pm. When we got to the hospital, there was a queue of about 6 cars waiting to get into the disabled car parking, so we stopped in the 20 minutes drop off point. It took us that long to get to the Diabetic Clinic, which was right over the other side of the building. By then it was 2pm, and Mum was called in straight away! So, she had her eye drops put in, waited for about 15 mins, then had her retinography and we went back to the car - 30 minutes longer than we should have been parked, but what was I supposed to do? Hospitals really do need to get their parking arrangements sorted out!
