I did not add the dragonfly (just to the left of the centre of the cricket screen). I noticed it for the first time while I was processing the image.
Sunshine slanting in through the layers of the window - glass panes, air, then, wire screen - before entering the room.
The bedroom of a inmate at the old Z Ward mental asylum at Glenside.
A baboon scratching his unmentionables at the Adelaide Zoo. I had to shoot this from behind a modesty screen with the details appropriately blurred out, haha!

Check out this art installation I am helping sponsor. My good friend Divi has this split sim area dedicated to rotating artists in SL. For more information please read my blog and check the links from there: karasecondlife.blogspot.com/2010/12/spit-screen.html
I added Divi, my sea dryke, my av and some music to the two installations for this short video. Bryn Oh has a super cool machinima of the space on Youtube. December artists: Bryn Oh and Miso Susanowa.

Wolf loves flashing and blinking lights. Can't read very much, so he just stares and pretendes. I could not resist adding the Star Trek alert...( Photo courtesy of Lexxi )

This is a close-up photo of the afternoon sunlight casting the dancing shadow of a bamboo window blind on an old television, and the reflection of my left hand in the TV screen.

One of the activities at the Baltimore Artfest was learning how to paint a screen. Looks fun -- like painting really big pixels.
I'll start with some detail today. In my next shot you'll see the context. From the main courtyard of the 1875 building of what was a "Girl's Institute" for wards of the state, and then became a home for the socially destitute, we see all the eclecticism of Victorian architecture at work.
To me there is a distinctive Spanish feel about these arches. We look through these screens onto a lovely little cloister that was once also nurses accommodation. It has that feel of Andalusia.
