This one was great. Spin the wheel and scratch and sniff the weird little packet that the arrow lands on. Then based on the smell (most were nasty), putt the ball into the hole with the correct illustration of that smell (taco truck, popcorn, grape soda, kerosene...they all smelled a little like kerosene) and if you get the right scent the ball rolls down a little railing ramp to victory. Sweet, sweet victory.

Beer made from ingredients foraged from the surrounding forest. Really! It's good, too, and they often have live music on their outdoor stage. It's in the middle of nowhere and pleasantly surreal.

Here's a buffalo scratching his head. This was taken in a wildlife refuge at Medicine Park Oklahoma. We were safe inside of my husbands truck. Thank goodness for zoom because I would never get that close! He was HUGE!

This picture of a scratch on my arm was produced by firstly scaling the RAW image down to a cold, neutral hue, then converting to black and white and playing with the red, green and blue colour channels. As with the green, I think it is best to view the large size image.

So I came home today to finish cleaning the inside of my car.. and I found dirty paw prints all of my car!

I was not happy so I let the cats know my my great displeasure... I think they got the message.

This is just a fun pattern. I love Chic or Treat, it too is a fun line!

"Scratch" is a easy and fun programming environment for beginners of all ages. Recently some young makers learned about programming nested 'repeat' loops to generate geometric patterns. Those drawings were then used as patterns to be cut on the laser cutter with some outstanding results.
