I need some decently sized Adeptus Mechanicus symbols for a terrain project I'm working on. The problem? No one makes the damn things any more. So, the only solution is to make my own.
I'm building the base model out of balsa wood and other stuff I have lying around the place, then I'll take a mould off it and make as many as I need! Theoretically :)
Just finished scratchbuilding a correct grille for the Charger. The kit comes with the incorrect Charger R/T grille.

I copied a vintage goose from an antique store charm bracelet, and for the figure of Domingo, I used one of the figures from a WWE Wrestling Micro Aggression toy pack selecting the character of CM Punk as the closest match to what I needed in a Spanish Gentleman Adventurer.
A better width and improved capping. Space was tight and there also had to be slots to accomodate the gable of the goods shed.

Marines trying to mount a Seahorse in Iwo Jima.
Like any Kow machines, it deserves some amorphous name. No design sketches, just progressive building until I got it all together. Parts were:
Shampoo dispenser nozzle
Water color paint bottle
Syringes
Nose Inhalers
CD Case
and some Tamiya model kit details+decals.
2 days of scratch building and 3 days of finishes. Not bad for a first time!
