Scratchbuilding a front bumper foa a 1/12 scale Monogram 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The material I'm using is called Durepoxi, and it's a epoxy putty that can be molded and sculpted.

The decks I am fitting here are 1/8" basswood. I will be covering them near the end with 1/16" basswood, scribed and stained to resemble the teak decks of the original.

Meine Stratmann 2 auf dem Wasserbecken war ein echter Hingucker! Das Modell ist fast 180 cm lang und sehr schön gebaut. Dieses Modell habe ich fertig gekauft! Gebaut wurde es von einem sehr guten alten Bekannten, der wegen seines hohen Alters die großen Modelle nicht mehr bewältigen konnte. Jetzt nehme ich sie mit zu Schaufahrten und Ausstellungen um sein Werk weiter zu zeigen. ps. die Stratmann ist bereits 18 Jahre alt und funktioniert immer noch einwandfrei!
