London tube art - viewable for one day only

My neighbors were out scraping ice off their car this morning. I haven't even owned one of those ice scrapers for 20+ years. Good thing my car is in the garage!

okay. so. this is the deal. we were at the korean spa...also known as the "porn parlor" as my chinese colleagues informed us... but we had some back work done. it's called scrape and suck. STEVE!! BEHAVE!!

In order to see how fast barnacles recolonize a bare surface, small spaces are cleared on intertidal rocks and the photographed the following monitoring season.

Have OS now changed the bow design to a heavier section?

We found that a hammer and wood chisel worked well for removing the mortar (although it probably wasn't very good for the chisel.

 

Also, remember the blue waterproofing membrane? It turns out that the mortar sticks to the blue stuff better than the blue stuff sticks to the backerboard. I guess this makes sense because the blue stuff is supposed to isolate the tiles from the backerboard.

Once enough sand has been sieved and compacted, the excess is scraped off

When Robin makes a face like this, dirt, grime and goop run in the opposite direction.

The only way to get this stuff up was with a scraper. I tried using some acetone to losen the glue, but all that did was give me a headache.
