The Jin Mao hotel in Shanghai, as the rain started to fall.

Something like a vacation. Hong Kong, June 2004.

At Singapore's Marina Bay district.

A female Meomyia sericans scraping up sand off the track; first time I have seen this species doing this. Note the wings never stopped!

View from inside one of the buildings in Minamisenju. I like the geometry and I especially like the blue skies.

Taken using a Nikon D40X and enhanced using Aperture.

Today Kai got his first little bloody scrape. Just a flesh wound there on the left side of his nose. He only let out one sadful yelp and then just toughed it out from there.

Outside Founder's Hall, London.

Taken with Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm f2 lens on Panasonic GX9.

Gotta get the snow and ice off the windshield so I can get to work!

SCRAPE LABS

Sluistuinen, april 2013

I don't use expensive brushes. Simple Simmons. That way, I can buy cheapy new ones when I need them. The important thing here is that OFF spray spritzer bottle (pink). I doesn't spray big blasts of water... just small, light misty sprays. I wet my palettes with that. The gray water bottle is for pre-wash wetting. I rarely use it.

Taken with my camera phone to send to Finny.

It's crazy, this building never seems exceptionally tall when I'm standing under it, but when I can see it from 30-40 miles away, while driving toward Chicago, then I have to change my tune.

You can't see it in this picture but he's standing on his own stepladder.

[21] ...and when the timer goes off open the lid, check consistency and scrape any unused flour down into the dough mixture. Consistency should be like stiff mashed potatoes. If too wet add rice flour, too dry add water.

Don't be tempted to look in there again.
