My first diy finger ring made of scrap material including brass sheet and fragment of an agate bracelet(?) I picked up in the street.First I rolled the brass sheet to form the hoop, cut and filed it to make the bezel;then make rivets from brass wire to rivet the hoop and the bezel together.then use a whet stone to whet the fragment into a regular shape, last set the fragment into the bezel, and it's finished.

went to see the squirrels in the park at lunchtime today, armed with a supply of Monkey Nuts and the ol' camera... seems they have either been fighting each other or being attacked by other wildlife but this chap in paticular was looking very sorry for himself!
I have been using Park tool SAC-2 SuperGrip assembly compound on the seat post, cus I had issues with it slipping, seat tube was also not completely round, but fixed that with a screwdriver, the original seat clamp was worn, but I later took the Clamp from the Fuel ex over to the 6300, but still kept using the compound just in case.
but it leaves scratches.
I hear crunchy sounds sometimes if I sit on the saddle, the seat post is doing this, it's probably the compound that makes the sound.
But no slipping issues.
now I just need new bars and get the fork serviced or maybe get a new one.
