I suppose it's been done a million times, but here's one of my own interpretations of the Manhattan metropolis, using a wide-angle lens. There is another, telephoto, shot. As you can see, we had glorious weather, although it was life-threateningly cold, especially at the top of the Rockefeller Centre, where this was taken.
Coal Harbour in Vancouver has some great opportunities for architectural photography. A black and white shot, of a building whose name I don't know...
I had a meal in a pub with my daughter. The meal was fine but the candles on the table had dripped wax on it - so while we waited for our order I idly scraped it off with my handy penknife :-)
Every summer the wasps scrape thin rolls of wood from my garden fence, which I presume is for their nest somewhere. It's fascinating to watch, but this is the only time I've managed to video it; though not much before it flew and I will try again this year to document it for posterity.
The replacement capacitor is much larger than the original. It required scraping the board to accommodate it. As Louis Rossmann points out this is all the same contact point so there's no issue with scraping.

She scrapes, bangs, and cuts her knees but facial cuts from falling flat on her face are rare -- this is her second, and she each time I worry her teeth are going to get damaged somehow. Is it this scary for everyone?
