All the houses near where I was staying had these left shoe scrapers at their front door. A mouse hole entrance :) They are so pretty that I wouldn't even remove dog poo from my shoes there, although I believe it to be quite a problem in this city. If I lived in Brussels, I'd start painting little colorful doors there.
This is the view which i daily see when going to my regular cafe "Casper and Gambeni" .

A lot of years ago, haha, when I was a student at Friedrich-Schiller-University, we liked to hike to Cospeda, having sausages and beer in this pub.
Napoleon had slept in this house, and the owner of the pub looked like Napoleon himself. If you had seen him, you would have learned to believe in a dejavu.

The engineering company for this was was based in Melton Mowbray. It was T. Cowman & Sons, and I believe that there is a Martin Cowman, civil and marine engineering contractors. Martin Cowman was established in 1946 (probably about when this photo was taken), but whether related to T Cowman I don't know. I think that T Cowman had something to do with electricity installation.

Woods grading scrapers are designed to handle more material in fewer passes.
• Heavy-duty mast plate creates more down force for smoother surface and virtually eliminates washboard effect
• Adjustable skid shoes and scarifiers increase performance
• Tall side frames hold more material for leveling
• Approachable leading edges and structural reinforcements keep scraper stronger for longer
• Reversible/replaceable high-carbon cutting edges
