Scraper

My 7 yr old son took this one. At the end of the day I checked to see what was on his camera and this had us laughing. What would be some good tags or a better title? My first response to seeing the image was "WTF?".

This Euclid/Terex Scraper was hard at work when I saw it in the '80s.

I can't resist looking up at the skyscrapers in big cities, no matter how much of a silly tourist I look like for it.

On exiting the Presidential palace I spotted this pool and the skyscrapers beyond. Abu Dhabi is more sedate and easier to get around than Dubai. It is a lot less touristy yet the people there were very friendly and helpful. The buildings were more spread out yet impressive in their own way.

1982 International tractor with yard scraper. Complete with concrete-filled oil drum for ballast.

I love a good turn of phrase. When Angie used the term crotch scraping to describe very short skirts, I immediately latched onto it. I’ve now replaced “miniskirt” with “crotch scraper” in my vocabulary.

Cardigan, Wet Seal. Camo tee, SO (thrifted). Belt, Macy’s. Crotch scraper, American Standard Tyte (thrifted and overdyed). Leggings, Target. Loafers, American Eagle for Target. Earrings, Pangaea.

I have no problem with very short skirts, provided one wears something pants-like beneath to avoid the show-cha your chocha. Keeping your legs crossed is also helpful.
