at Scout's request, the Boy and Supergirl gladly flip for the camera, while T covers his eyes to ease the horror and shame. ;-)
At the top of the Herse ski lift, Lukas scouted snow and avalanche conditions towards the North East.
As a consequence of the heavy snowfall of approx. half a meter yesterday, the avalanche condition was rated to level 4 of 5.
Initially the weather was cloudy, but during the afternoon clouds disappeared and sun enlightened us. It was much easier to find the route as well as all the humps en route.
I recently when to check how many of my photos made it to explore and was surprised to find that all my photos are in it, in chronological order that is, my most recent photo made it to number 1 and so on.
Scout is having a fun April fools day.

Here we are standing by my IH Scout in front of our house in March 1984, shortly after moving in. The builders have not yet finished the landscaping and we do not yet have grass on the lawn or even concrete in the driveway. Having a 4 wheel drive car came in handy during the Wisconsin winters. Within a year we replaced the blue IH Scout with a Jeep Cherokee.
