Every year in February Scouts New Zealand holds a National Mud Slide. As our area is very dry this time of year ours is a water slide, but no less fun.

The dream world is so vast that one can walk, fly, and swim endlessly.
As a result, you can get lost.
Before setting out, it's wise to send a scout ahead and explore everything.
Unfortunately, it has also happened that a scout has gotten lost; they have been found back but completely haggard over the years.

these ships are used to scout the watery world of kamino and to search for survivors. the four hoverslips on each side also act as legs allowing it to traverse small land masses on kaminos surface. their diamond hulls allow them to go to incredible depths in the kaminoian oceans.

I've been scouting for vintage clothes for decades. I can remember a time where I'd go into musty old shops that would routinely have racks of forties crepe dresses, fifties poodle skirts
& embroidered bowling shirts all at dirt cheap prices. Maybe I've imagined it all, because if you look inside my wardrobe, there's nothing like that in there now.
Reading "Doublespeak's" fantastically detailed & comprehensive discussion on having a great vintage wardrobe reminded me of those far-off golden days. I felt sad that it's no longer possible to easily buy that stuff.
But whaddya know - the next day I find a little vintage shop tucked away in a suburban beach side suburb of Sydney & on the "Severely Marked down Rack" I discover this silk dress from the 50s with a $20 price tag. I gingerly ask the owner if it is on the right rack. "Yes, love, it's marked down from $110." Yippee!!
I'm sure I owe my good fortune to Doublespeak & the Vintage Angel!
Also wearing my new thrifted Scout belt. I've always wanted to "be prepared".
