Michael Sippey, VP of Six Apart (software company behind Moveable Type) compiled a great list of the specialized lingo project managers use in their daily lives, which I found via Kottke. Reading through it, I was mentally checking off the ones I've heard personally, both at Pop Art, and in my previous lives. I fired up Illustrator, and 10 minutes later, I invented a new game: Lingo Bingo, Project Management Edition. Future editions (Creative, SEO, Developer) forthcoming. Leave other ideas in the comments at blogs.popart.com/dave-selden/archive/2008/12/16/lingo-bin....
"From Flickr Commons. I am creating a set of these amazing Scopes Trial photos so that my friends can more easily view them all."

Digiscoping this Himalayan Flameback was more of a challenge, since it wouldn't keep still. (That's my excuse for the rather blurry photo.)
All images in this album are renderings.
Select renderings show customs items which would need to be individually quoted by project.

Exteriors for the hit comedy "Back To The Future" were shot at the same location as "Inherit The Wind," filmed 25 years earlier. Prior to “Back To The Future” the location was known as “Mockingbird Square,” for its role in another iconic film: “To Kill a Mockingbird.” (1962) In the early morning hours of June 1, 2008, Courthouse Square was completely destroyed when a 3-alarm fire swept through the Universal back lot. It's since been rebuilt exactly as before.

The Scopes Trial became a rhetorical battle between two of the world’s great public speakers: three-time presidential candidate, William Jennings Bryan (right) and famed defense attorney, Clarence Darrow (left.) Darrow ultimately lost the case but that outcome was preordained--he had always planned to appeal the verdict to the State Supreme Court. (He won the case on appeal.)

In this one, I hovered the capture window over an edge of the original picture so it picked up a little of the black edging on the pictue. The black comes in anytime the Silicon Mirror runs off the side of an image.
In honor of my grandmother and aunt, let the pink in this picture remind you to click to give at http://www.thebreastcancersite.com and yes, it really works. All you have to do is click and it will add funds to give women free mammograms. While you're there, you can also click to give at the other sites run by Greater Good Network: Animal Rescue, Hunger, Literacy, Rainforests, and Child Health.
