Curiosity. We were well away from the haul out rocks so we wouldn't spook them, but a few come in closer to see what we were up to including this one spyhoping out of the water to get a good look over our transom.
Please note that a new hardware version of this device has been released, therefore these images will most likely not apply to it.
For some reason the Chinese factory where my LXD75 was assembled used LockTite (or some equivalent) to secure the polar scope. What were they thinking? I had to use channel locks and my vice to get the thing off. It scraped off nearly all the paint, but it's not otherwise damaged.
Scope: Nikon Monarch 3-9x (40mm Objective) w/ BDC Reticle mounted in Warne Rings, on a Weaver 1pc base.
Rifle: Savage 110 in .270 Winchester

Walking around Devils Tower was such an experience where pictures do not do justice to the true experience.

SCOPE Art Fair opened it's doors to throngs of excited VIP's during a special Tuesday night preview of the show. Miami's Art Basel week is just starting to gear up, and the work at this year's SCOPE is already very different from last year - featuring much more up-and-coming talent, and prices that seem to be lower overall.

2017's Summer MCM's Comic Convention is over, but the memory still lives on, and burns as bright as the sun that radiated on those beautiful days. These are are some of the moments from the Saturday convention.

With the ubiquitous Mickey Mouse pin, of course. The bag is just large enough to hold my camera with whichever lens I have mounted on it and a few basic supplies. I really like the portability compared to a large SLR bag.

Looking around for lobster and notice my friend Donato was next to me, but he had to go up for air. Once he was up for air, I decided to take another picture. I thought this came out really good with B&W.
