And everywhere are children. Wherever you stop the suddenly appear out of nowhere, starring at you. It's amazing how the youngest of them get carried around by the second youngest. Schoolsystem is not the best on Flores and not always for free and in the end children become what their parents were, other options are very rare.

On the other hand it is interesting for an european to travel over an island where money is not important. In Europe, if money vanishes all of a sudden everything will break down, here people only use money for mobility, on markets the swap rice with potatos with chicken...
