Early T269 and T1125 ready for the school run 160S. Double deckers were retained for some school journeys as 100 kids won't fit on a StarRider!

In early June, I spotted this bus and 2 others before they even had license plates put on. On August 14th, I spotted new 74 and 76 on their very first test drive, and now they’re officially running as of today, the 18th!

Unfortunately the majority of my current bus fleet has to be parked in plastic bins. This corner stack holds 46 buses. I currently have 75-80 in the fleet.

An antique school bus that was on display at the Museum of Bus Transportation Spring Fling for a couple of years.

Pictured are two retired Michigan School Buses that are on the sales lot at TESCO bus sales in 2002. The bus on the left is a 1987-88 International S-Series with a Carpenter body. The bus on the right is a 1989-90 International 3800 with a Thomas body. Michigan didn't adopt 8-way flashers until 1991. Many, but not all of the buses that were to remain in service for a few years were retrofitted with 8-way flashers however it still wasn't uncommon to see Michigan buses with 4-way flashers well into the mid 2000's. By comparison when Ohio adopted 8-ways in April of 1978 few if any buses were retrofitted and they ran out their lives with the 4-way flasher systems, in some cases for 20 years or more.

91 is a late model 72 passenger 2018 Blue Bird Vision. It has a 230hp 6.7L Cummins ISB paired with the Eaton Precision 7 Speed Dual Clutch automatic transmission. This bus replaced 75 which is now a sub. This photo was taken at a parade for the NHS Cheer team going off to the state champs game in Hershey, PA.

My youngest wanted photos of himself with the two buses he owns, so I obliged.

Just trying to get in Explore. The January 10th edition has 42 school bus photos. There's good evidence that Explore selections are now being made by a computer algorithm that may have originally been developed for self-driving cars (as suggested by it's affinity for vehicles). You'd think they would wait 'til it worked before implementing it, but it's been improving. It can now identify images that are similar to past selections.

This is the oldest active bus in my current fleet of model buses. It's in terrific condition as well. It was build just a few years after I started using an exterior film called monokote that gives it a glossy finish. Before that the exteriors were just posterboard.

I wanted to create a schoolbus that had been ripped apart and converted for my post apocalyptic series, so I started building a regular school bus and then modified it to fit the theme. The old flak vierling on the back was originally build for a variant of my flammkäfer ww2 style walker and re-purposed for this.

hope you like it, as usual c&c welcome!
