My first and probably last attempt at type A school buses. I've never been a big fan of them and it was hard to stay motivated in the build process.

What happens with the school buses in the United States that are no longer used for having more than 10 years of use or more than 240 thousand kilometers traveled?.

These vehicles have a second chance to be used. They are sent to Antigua, Guatemala where they are subjected to a transformation and repair of parts that are damaged.

The buses go through a remodeling where they are painted in a peculiar and traditional way, quite popular in the country.

Approximately more than 22 two thousand units have been transformed to serve in rural Guatemala as public transport.

Both of these buses are prime examples of early "orange emblem" 3700s or 3800s, long since retired from the roads. The most surprising thing about them, however, is that they were equipped with only a single crossover mirror! Ontario's specifications have often been behind the times on safety and equipment trends (roof hatches, 8-way flashers), and this oversight seems par for the course.
