Ex Bus Eireann Cork Scania K94IB / Irizar SR51 is seen in Bus Scoile format near the Cavan/Fermanagh border at Leggykelly
I built the large schoolbus (scaled 1/22) about five years ago in the Netherlands. It underwent some updates since then, such as the addition of new front windows. Two years ago, when I was building American vehicles for the Bricksboro Beach project (with the Brickish association in the UK) I decided to build a smaller version. Until today I'd never actually put them side-by-side.
A picture slightly out of order here . as it was the first shot we did that day . About half a mile up the road from CWK's House we came across this AEC Reliance MU3RV , which was new during October-1954 to Aldershot & District (254) with a Strachans C41C Coach body . Then it was Re-bodied in January-1967 by Met-Cam as a 40 seat service bus .

My first and probably last attempt at type A school buses. I've never been a big fan of them and it was hard to stay motivated in the build process.
Iron Range bus 896 (ex-47), Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Note the unusual (and illegible) "School Bus" sign, recessed behind a clear window. I suspect that this bus (and its 897 twin) were purchased used.

It's a little tough for me to "Urbex" where I live so I have started looked at some of the abandoned barns around our area.
