Geisha (A0924369) is a friendly, loving cat who was abandoned to NYC Animal Care & Control and quickly scheduled to be killed due to her condition. What Geisha needed was medical diagnostics and treatment: veterinary intervention!--not a death sentence doled out by individuals who couldn't even articulate what was wrong with her! Thankfully, Empty Cages Collective (www.emptycagescollective.org), an animal advocacy and rescue organization stepped up to save her life!
Geisha was born with deformed back legs. However, she is able to use them and walk on them when need be (she can even get herself to a litter box when necessary!). Furthermore, Geisha has a rare (but treatable) ear issue called proliferative and necrotizing otitis. The most important thing is Geisha values her life, loves affection from people and has a hardy appetite! She has been staying at a feline speciality veterinary practice while she recovers.
Every day she is more and more on the mend! No thanks to NYC ACC who only gave a half hour for placement to be found for Geisha before they threatened to kill her. It has been a pleasure to help her!
Soon she will need a foster or adopter! Please get in touch with Empty Cages Collective if you are interested in adopting, fostering or donating towards her care: 1 (800) 880-2684 or adopt@emptycagescollective.org

On Mount Abbot, during SPS scheduled weekend climbs of Mt. Abbott and Bear Creek Spire, Sept. 19-20, 1987. The weekend outing was cut short when Donna O'Shaughnessy was injured near the summit of Abbott and had to be rescued on 9/19/87. [From attached note by Donna O'Shaughnessy: Maris Valkass and Tom Duryea, Leaders. Other participants included Brian Smith, Hirsch Kolp, George Tucker, Tina Stough, Don and Ursula Slagel. Approx 1:45 PM I was hit just above left boot by large rock. The Guys doctors me up and belayed me up to the plateau (they taking about 15 mined to bag the peak while others helped me). Maris stayed with me while othered effected the rescue. Tom reclaimed the peak, arriving about 8:00 PM with sleeping bags, eta. My hero!]

St. Modwen and Swansea University 'on schedule' to deliver £450m Bay Campus Development : Swansea University’s Bay Campus is being delivered on St. Modwen’s 65 acre former BP Transit site in Neath Port Talbot on the eastern approach into Swansea and will have the distinction of being one of the few global universities with direct access onto a beach and its own seafront promenade. The Campus will provide academic, student accommodation and research space, the latter being in a series of agreements with international and national companies.
Whilst development work will continue up until 2020, the majority of the works will be completed during this first phase of construction and open for the first intake of students in September 2015.
Not much time to eat out today so grabbed a bento so I can eat and

Scheduled a small group to meet and shoot here. Then it rained and rained. A dozen still showed up, so we shot in the rain. Rain, fall colors, tombstones. Who could ask for anything more?
life and schedule conflicts have gotten mandy and i a bit behind on our thirteen moons date. i'm not as happy with this tag as i could be. maybe i'll do it again.
Since we have like 4 years before the next installment, I guess there's a chance that we might have a full cast from the second movie made from Bandai, even if the release schedule is ridiculously slow.
So while I await the release of Spider-Man India, Spider-Punk was released and arrived in my grubby hands. I don't know anything about the comic version, but for me, this guy was the MVP of the film. Guy didn't even have to do anything... just being in the scene was great. It also didn't hurt that he got all the cool brooding shadowy shots.
Like Miguel, I recall this was one of those Premium Bandai. Accessory wise, pretty much everything I expected, which is basically hands, alternate head, guitar and the wrist band. I just don't remember the guitar being that small.
From a sculpting perspective, beautifully done. The proportions, the detailing, everything. Proper height in comparison to the others in the series, and I'm going to presume this will continue going forward. The leather jacket and overall straps are separate pieces, with the latter given enough slack to not interfere with any posing. The Hobie head is also nicely done, with an appropriate carefree expression on the face. Hair come out nicely as well. Hard to tell if the skin tone is off or not because I don't we ever really got shots of him in normal lighting, so I'll just presume they got it right.
So one of the unfortunately things about getting the figures to be screen accurate is that the proportions can be tricky, and when you do nail them, there's the issue of standing them. Fortunately, Hobie does have relatively normal proportions, just a bit more slender. This is in comparison to Miles, who can't really stand that well.
Articulation is quite good. Proportions look different, but the points of articulation are consistent across the figures. The one exception would be shoulders. Unlike the others, Hobie has a collar and sleeves that get in the way of Butterfly joint operation. Also, because the boots have a piece on the ankle, the feet can't really rotate backwards. Otherwise, the figure poses very much like the other releases.
Paint Application is beautiful. As per usual, there's a lot of reliance on the base plastic colour with top coat, but there are so many accents and decals on this figure that it's hard to tell. Decal work especially has special mention for this figure, as they're everywhere and are as messy as you see on the on screen character. It doesn't look like they used Digital Painting on the face, but it looks sharp and without any real reference material, I give it a pass.
Build Quality wise, no issues with e parts the set comes with or any typical production value issues. The right thigh swivel on my figure, however, was a bit tight. Overall, the figure will hold the pose you want - getting it balanced, however, is a totally different issue.
The Zhanjiang airport flight schedule on the day of our departure. We'd been told our flight was leaving (FM9360) would be on schedule to leave at 3:15pm, when we arrived this is what we saw. The first of a day of delays.
As with most things around here, somewhat behind schedule. (Though this is hiring for positions, not announcing the new store, so I may be overstating things a bit.)
The main vessel in each case is the MV Canna yet there appear to be different scores for the same feature. Which public officials need their eyes tested? Also the passenger only vessel of the tender 2 process was the MV True Light and it failed the MCA test.
April 2, 2023 - The Wagner-Hagans Auto Museum is a private collection in Ohio that is free and open to the public. This is a small museum without regular staff so you do need to call and schedule an appointment to tour the museum we toured with our Exploring Columbus by Foot MeetUp group.
I was going through a box the other day, and I came across this old schedule for the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Northwest Line. It is dated June 16, 1969.

In Maritimes they usually publish the 'tide schedule' in a weather section in local newspapers. This should be regarded as 'estimate' times. A gentleman, a local from Moncton who was present at the time we were watching the tidal bore told us "you'd be better off to come over a little bit earlier". Again, removing the causeway has had an effect on the tidal bore's dynamic, and it consequently reflected on the 'schedule'.
