James Basson, Scape Design. "Untitled, after a work by Albert Diato." The design of the landscape is based on a work by Albert Diato in the personal collection of Prince Albert of Monaco. The walls, constructed of straw bales covered with mud, evoke the rammed earth structures of Afghanistan, where Diato taught ceramics during the last century. The silver bowl evokes both his ceramic work and his love for the Mediterranean. All the plants are alive and in fact were beginning to green up toward the end of the show. Philadelphia Flower Show, March 3, 2014.
If only this was the real view on the Forth, it was a flat sky touch of haar needed some livening up.
