This is a scan (of a picture) I did using my Macintosh SE/30 and a Logitech hand held grayscale scanner. I really like the "oldschool" grayscale scanners and the look they give pictures. You can pretty much count the pixels. I was surprised at how well it looked on my G5 when I transferred it from the SE/30.

Scanned from the original 1973 Instamatic enprint.

Many years ago a daughter left for art school leaving behind a bedroom beyond imagination. Amongst the remains was a collection of fabrics. I scanned these as a memento.

Another shot from university, we were testing our ability to set up in the studio.

Left the grain and dust marks in from the scan for textural purposes, I think they add to the feel of the shot.

Saw this at the local Giant that I walked after the giant snowfall. I've never seen something like this but it's kind of a mix of self-checkout and bridal registry systems.
