CIE D 487 is seen parked between duties on Fleet Street. 15/11/1985
The ad on the side is for McDonald's with the tagline: 'At McDonald's You Get Much More'.
Both front end designs, round and oval buffers, stabled at Newcastle Central Station on 26th December 1985.
bit of a funky idea... took a 30 sec exposure whilst doing a scan of my original treble clef drawing [layout paper]. strange results....

A pair of BRC&W Class 104 sets pass at Fambridge on the Southminster Branch in the mid-1970s. The down line is nearest the camera. Then, as now, Fambridge was the only crossing place on the line. The platforms have since been extended to accommodate 12-car EMUs. Electrification and resignalling saw the signal box demolished and the footbridge replaced.

**UPDATE** The DSLR scan video I've been trying to make for ages is finally here! jamiemphoto.com/blog/2014/12/2/dslr-scan-video-is-here
Shot on my lovely Leica/Leitz/Minolta CL with Ilford Delta 400 film. Processed with Sprint Photo Systems developer and scanned by Nikon D800 on a copy stand using the slide duplication method.
Important stuff: Loved the shape and form of Dasha's silhouetted reflection and the sheer outer part of her dress, especially in combination with the faded leaf.
