i am getting closer and closer to finishing a novel that i have been writing for the last few years, it is a semi-autobiographical fictional tale of a street artist named jerm, or a man named jeremiah, i'm not sure.
it might just be a love story, but it isn't.
the same story is told simultaneously from the perspectives of jeremiah and stephanie camden, a person of interest.
the comment below is the very first unedited rough draft of chapter 1.
it has since been edited extensively but i thought i'd start by showing my work, this old version was the background layer of the 'cascading confession'.
let me know what you think.

The reviews of this scam are heartbreaking. There's a special place in hell for snake oil salesmen who rip off mothers of epileptic children.
“In April of 200 my son Sean who is 7 years old was diagnosed with Complex Partial Epilepsy. He has been on various medications to stabilize his seizures. The longest period of time that he went seizure free was 64 days until he started wearing a Q-Link®. Since we put the Q-Link® on him and the ClearWave clock in his room and he has not experienced one seizure. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your products and the obvious effects it has had with Sean and my whole family.”

Here's a screenshot of an Lottery scam e-mail. It's unusual, because it's well written and done in HTML without all the flashy stuff or badly formatted graphics.

ATM fraud on the rise

A team of organized criminals is installing equipment on legitimate bank ATMs to steal both the ATM card number and the PIN. The team sits nearby in a car receiving the information transmitted wirelessly over weekends and evenings from equipment they install on the front of the ATM (see photos). If you see an attachment like this, do not use the ATM and report it immediately to the bank using the 800 number or phone on the front of the ATM. The equipment used to capture your ATM card number and PIN is cleverly disguised to look like normal ATM equipment. A “skimmer” is mounted to the front of the normal ATM card slot that reads the ATM card number and transmits it to the criminals sitting in a nearby car. At the same time, a wireless camera is disguised to look like a leaflet holder and is mounted in a position to view ATM PIN entries. The thieves copy the cards and use the PIN numbers to withdraw thousands from many accounts in a very short time directly from the bank ATM.
I get a ton of phishing scam emails, but I've never seen one claiming to be the IRS. Now that tax season is about to start, this is a disturbing turn of events.
Phishing ebay, paypal, etc is pretty messed up, but phishing for someone's entire life details from the IRS is much, much worse. Burn in hell, scammers.
