THIS is my NENETL !!
SHE is trying out this NEW scalp ... and NO, IT IS NOT A WIG!!
POOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRR NENETL has had THE worst hair-raising history ...
She came to me as a brand new STILL in the box ASHTON DRAKE GALLERIES "Aztec Arrival".
Her hair was gorgeous, full, thick and a beautiful shade of red!
HOWEVER ... ADG hair is notorious for LOOKING great in a photo ... for about 5 minutes.
NEXT: Little Nenetl wore the little "corkscrew" wig ... WHICH we loved!!! It fit her to a "T" !
Sadly, the wig got as matted and yucky as a homeless mutt in a junkyard ... SOOOO we tried to order another one ... and yep ... you guessed it .... the wig for sale was from the same seller, and they had the SAME photo on the sellers' site, but when the wig arrived, it was TOTALLY different. Looked like a wig Ann Landers wouldn't even wear, it was hideous.
So, Poor Little Nenetl ......She HAD TO have hairs ... She is one of my TOP most hardest working models ...! ...
so I ended up putting her in the caramel & honey colored wig (the one with the tiny braids), WHICH would have been perfect, had it been on a SCALP, and not a wig. There is just "something" about an ill-fitting wig that makes the head appear mis-shapen ... and she really only looked good when she had a HAT covering that bumpy wig ...
FAST FORWARD to ... THE SUNSHINE HOLIDAY SCALP
I used my Sunshine Holiday face and body for FRENCHIE FAITH, one of the TWINS ... and so I had the scalp just laying around ...
I LOVE the color of the Sunshine HOliday scalp hair ... It is a very pretty shade and can be very complimentary on the right complexion ... But when I put it on Nenetl ... .she just looked ... well... ORDINARY. Like a girl you wouldn't look at twice.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO .... being the Mad Scientist that I am ... I got out my bottle of TANGERINE RIT DYE ..... and ... wa-la ! THIS COLOR came out in about 5 minutes!!! I think I added a bit too much RIT .... but there you have it .... my little BRAVE look-alike ...

Roxie models the Coolcat scalp with the Toffee Nylon + Blue Nylon and Ice White Saran streaks. Nylon is a lot easier to make curls than Saran and it can be easily washed out if desired with some hot water just of the boil. It is a full head of hair on a new Coolcat scalp so no empty holes. One Blue/White streak is only at the top, the other White/Blue streak run from bottom up and have been exempted from the top circle so you can see it mostly by pulling the hair back. They are cute little accents. I'm hoping to FA or FT.

Pillar completed 9th October 1952 costing £24.13s.0d. Computed as secondary triangulation station NJ45/11 within the Elgin secondary block, and levelled to second class precision during 1953. This pillar station was last maintained by the Ordnance Survey in July 1983.
SITE VISIT
Parked on verge beside track entrance at NJ373397. Followed the mapped track all the way. The pillar is in good condition beside cairn. The spider retains its original OS centre cap with deep indented letters. Thee flush bracket faces NNE, compass reading 20°. Vented through back (southmost) sight hole. The panoramic 360° view includes Benachie and prominent tops in Sutherland.

Here's the result after 4 days of attempt paint removal with nail polish remover (thumbs down)... then with advice from Helena and Sherri, I bought 100% acetone from Home Depot and the rest of the paint came off in 1 second (sorry no picture).
What did I changed to treat my scalp psoriasis ?
Stopped Milk (earlier I was having Soy and then moved back to milk)
Almond milk for my tea
Salmon fish and roasted veggies for lunch

Down at the southern end of the olympic green, just outside the security fence, there are hundreds of people selling tickets for everything from athletics to baseball. Tickets for the night's athletics were going for around $200 ... and one woman was asking over a thousand dollars for a ticket to the 110m hurdles final. This was before Liu XIang pulled out ... i imagine the ticket will be a little cheaper today.
I did a wefted reroot for WarmLeatherette, and trimed the hair so she wasn't tripping over it. Wefts are a little tricky to finish so that you don't see the "weft"; sewn bit thruogh the hair, mohair wefts are easier but this tuned out OK. :)

This is Jehu's Christmas present. :) Isn't she cute?! Jehu REALLY wanted a girl with pink hair, so I think she will be getting a re-root...I just need to find a scalp (I'd hate to destroy an Aubrey hairdo that is actually GOOD!).
She is packed away in my sewing box, which is located in the livingroom. Jehu plays there during the day, and sometimes her little toys jump up on the box. It gives me a giddy feeling knowing her doll is in that box...I don't know if this surprise will last until Christmas...
Very pretty has layers, I love this type, a little shorter at the front but fuller in and through the back... :)
She was reborn as a red head girl.
Changed her faded blond hair with rich red hair(originally owned by a poncho blythe).
It was quite a challenge opening her head and changing scalps but believe me- I had a lot of fun and am so happy with the result!!
