At last it has arrived ! A lovely little model by Oxford Diecast, the Bedford Lomas ambulance , this one is in City of Birmingham livery.
This is a large 1:8 scale model of JLTV UTI (Cargo) with mounted Radar Equipment. A 3D model of JLTV was developed in house anticipation a demand for it as a platform for multiple applications. In this case it features a radar complex by non-disclosed manufacturer. The model is produced 100% by rapid prototyping from increased durability plastic and assembled in record 1 week time.
The model is mounted on painted base with an acrylic clear protective cover and packed in heavy duty military grade Rotomold transit case.
It was first exhibited at 2021 AUSA trade show where it earned positive feedback for its accuracy, level of detailing and realism.
Models of JLTV currently in General Purpose/Heavy Guns Carrier and Utility modifications available from Gamla Model Makers for Defense Industry and Military customers.
Right, this is awesome - he filled a load of bags of lead shot, each with the appropriate amount as per the stress on a part of La Sagrada, then hooked them up on strings and hung them upside down, thus plotting the stress forces and the ideal structure. AWESOME
